President Droupadi Murmu today launched the #SkillTheNation AI challenge at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre, marking a significant step in preparing India’s youth for an AI-driven future.

She also virtually inaugurated the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Regional Centre and Skill Centre in Rairangpur, Odisha.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), forms part of the SOAR (Skilling for AI Readiness) programme under the Skill India Mission.

President Murmu personally participated in an “AI for Beginners” module and conferred certificates on learners, demonstrating leadership in lifelong learning.
