Mumbai, India – November 25, 2025: Bollywood star Rakhi Sawant shared a funny story about her outfit during a new podcast interview.
She said she bought her glamorous dress from “Lala Land,” a made-up place she places “between Nagaland and Switzerland.”
The 47-year-old actress commented on her birthday while talking on the “Spill The Tea” podcast by Humans of Bombay, hosted by Karishma Mehta.

In the interview, Sawant was dressed up and got a compliment on her look.
She replied with the joke about Lala Land, mixing Nagaland’s lively culture in northeast India with Switzerland’s mountain charm.

She told the host, “I am not human. I am an alien. Look at my eyes. I have come from space.”
Sawant said these wild tales help her deal with pain:
“There is so much pain inside me that I keep myself happy by saying such things. I have made myself into a hilarious Joker,” she explained.

As the main earner, she paid for her siblings’ school, weddings, and her mother’s hospital bills.
“Rakhi Sawant’s other name is ATM card. Swipe me,” she joked sadly.
This pressure almost led to suicide.
It pushed her to speak out boldly in her “muh fat” style, to stay in the spotlight and get jobs.
Sawant also talked about surviving Bollywood’s dark side, like the “casting couch.”
She used a trick called “Gud Chakhana”: Pretend to agree to demands to sign contracts, then delay with excuses like “my periods have come.” “I was smart, wasn’t I?” she said.
She learned from Amitabh Bachchan to stay humble and chase work by visiting offices without an invitation.
Her career started with dance numbers in movies like Main Hoon Na and grew on reality shows.
She has had surgeries to change her looks and turned down bad deals.
