Mumbai, 01 December 2025: Tiger Shroff was once Bollywood’s biggest action hero.
His flying kicks, perfect dance moves, and six-pack made him a superstar.
Films like Baaghi 2 and War earned hundreds of crores.
However, today, most of his new movies are failing badly. People are asking, ‘What went wrong?’
The good days were amazing.
From 2014 to 2019, nearly every Tiger film generated significant revenue.
War (2019) was his biggest hit, earning nearly ₹475 crore worldwide.
At that time, he was paid ₹30–35 crore per movie.
Then came the pandemic, and everything changed.
After 2022, his films started bombing one after another:
- Heropanti 2 – only ₹22 crore (flop)
- Ganapath – only ₹18 crore (huge loss)
- Bade Miyan Chote Miyan – ₹66 crore against ₹350 crore budget (disaster)
- Baaghi 4 (September 2025) – around ₹50 crore (below average)
Four big flops in a row.
Many new projects have been quietly cancelled.
There are three simple reasons:
- He continues to play the same type of role. Every film features flying kicks, slow-motion walks, and shirtless scenes. When a story is weak, people become bored and are less likely to buy tickets.
- He said yes to bad scripts. Tiger kept working with the same team and did not choose strong stories. Good actors say “no” to weak films – he said “yes” too many times.
- The audience’s taste has changed after COVID. Now, people want good stories and real acting. Pure action stars without strong emotions are struggling.
Because his films are losing money, producers no longer want to pay him ₹30 crore.
They are asking him to take only ₹8–10 crore – that is almost 70 % less.
There is still some hope.
In Singham Again (2024), he played a short negative role as a tough cop.
The whole theatre cheered and clapped.
Fans are now begging him: “Please play villain roles, you are great at them!”
Tiger himself said in an interview this year: “I know people are talking negatively. I have faced rejection all my life. I am taking acting classes and reading new scripts. I will come back stronger.”
He is only 35 years old, still very young.
Many stars, such as Akshay Kumar and Sunny Deol, made huge comebacks at older ages.
If Tiger chooses better stories, works with new directors, and agrees to lower pay for some time, he can rise again.
Right now, Bollywood’s flying hero has to learn a new skill: winning hearts with acting, not just with kicks.
Fans are waiting for his next big move.
