Queen Khan Accused Of Assaulting Party Leader Shahbaz In Bengaluru

Expelled YEP leader Queen Khan allegedly led a group to storm and assault fellow party leader Shahbaz in Bengaluru after her removal over anti-party activities.

In a dramatic escalation of internal rivalry within the Youth Empowerment Party (YEP), expelled leader Queen Khan has been accused of leading a group of men in storming the residence of fellow party leader Shahbaz and assaulting him.

According to a complaint filed at Suddguntepalya (SG Palya) Police Station, the incident occurred on Friday shortly after Queen Khan’s expulsion from the YEP over alleged anti-party activities.

Shahbaz, who had contested the Davangere South by-election on a YEP ticket, was reportedly at his Bengaluru home when the group allegedly forced entry, physically assaulted him, and issued threats.

Queen Khan has reportedly taken full responsibility for the attack in a video circulated on social media.

In the clip, she is said to have openly challenged Shahbaz, daring him to name her publicly if he had the courage.

Police have registered a case based on the complaint and have begun an investigation into charges of assault and criminal intimidation.

No arrests have been reported so far, and further details regarding injuries or the exact sequence of events are awaited.

The Youth Empowerment Party, a relatively young regional outfit active in Karnataka politics, has not issued an official statement on the expulsion or the alleged attack as of now.

This incident highlights growing internal discord within the party and comes at a time when YEP is attempting to expand its footprint in the state.
