Good news for General Hospital fans!
A beloved character, John “Jagger” Cates, has made a comeback, this time with a fresh face.
Actor Adam Harrington is now stepping into the role and debuted on the show in the episode that aired on February 2nd.
You might recognize Harrington from his previous appearances in popular TV series like Queer as Folk, Show Me Yours, Whistler, Dexter, The Secret Circle, and Bosch.
His most recent work was in the Netflix series The Lincoln Lawyer, where he played the character Jeff Trammell.
Jagger Cates appeared on General Hospital in the 1990s when Antonio Sabáto Jr. portrayed him from 1992 to 1994, with a brief return in the fall of 1995.
He reprised the role in 2008 for the second season of the primetime spinoff, General Hospital: Night Shift.
In the storyline, Jagger moved to San Francisco to become a police officer and, by his Night Shift appearance, had become an FBI agent.
In a recent twist, he played a role in busting gun runners, an operation involving Anna.
It took Anna a little time to recognize him, but it’s understandable considering the years passed and the changes in Jagger’s appearance.
Currently, there is no information about how long Jagger’s character will be in Port Charles, so it is uncertain how long we will see Adam Harrington on the show.
