Bury Teen Dies in Workplace Accident, Two Arrested on Manslaughter Charges

In a tragic incident in Bury, a 17-year-old boy lost his life in what is being described as a “workplace accident.” 

The unfortunate event occurred around 10:10 AM on Thursday, and the young boy was found dead at the business location where the accident happened. 

Following this, Greater Manchester Police have taken action by arresting two men, ages 41 and 36, under suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter related to the boy’s death.

The 41-year-old detainee is also being scrutinized for suspected driving offences. 

Both individuals are currently in custody, undergoing questioning as part of the investigation.

Authorities, including the Greater Manchester Police and the Health and Safety Executive, jointly investigate the incident’s details. 

The focus is on understanding the sequence of events that led to the fatal accident at the Tile Street site. 

This investigation aims to uncover the causes and, if possible, prevent such incidents. 

The police have stated that their inquiries are still in progress.
